"The radio stations, Facebook and talk on the streets are all full of conversations about the volunteerism in this the community. I have heard of hotels offering reduced rate rooms for those in need, people calling the radio stations with offers of spare rooms and guest cabins ready and available. The sand baggers have been busy with old and young alike working side by side. Food prepared and donated by locals and businesses provide meals to those staying in the Community Center. Plans are being discussed for fundraising events when people begin the task of cleaning up and repairing their homes."
